NEVADA, Mo. (AP) - A southwest Missouri man scheduled to go on trial next week for his wife's death instead has admitted his guilt. Forty-3-year-old Mark Edward Bishop of Moundville was sentenced Friday to 17 years in prison for second-degree murder.
