Joplin man granted suspended sentence in weapon case

A judge granted a Joplin man a suspended sentence this week on a weapon conviction in Jasper County Circuit Court. Brandon L. Jackson, 29, pleaded guilty Nov. 28 to a reduced charge of unlawful use of a loaded firearm while intoxicated.
