The purchase of this large collection of coins and currency was completed in September, 2011. It featured a hard-to-find National Currency Note from 1902 drawn on the now defunct First National Bank of Golden City, MO and other items. “I am pleased to add this particular note to my collection of local and regional National Currency Notes,” said Dave Sorrick. “The provenance of this piece, coming from a friend who entrusted its care to me, is particularly satisfying,” he added. Sorrick is a long-time collector of paper currency and coins. He formed In God We Trust LLC in 2008 as a full-service coin business offering appraisal, purchase, sales, and auction services to collectors and dealers in Southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas.
