It's been more than two weeks since election day, and finally the sheriff of McDonald County has been decided.

The initial vote certification last week had former sheriff Rob Evenson defeating Undersheriff Greg Sweeten by 18 votes.

However, Sweeten asked for a hand recount.

And Thursday those results are in with Evenson still the winner.
