On Thursday, November 17, the Webb City Historical Society will sponsor two workshops on creating family recipe heirloom books. Led by professional scrapbooker Kathy Casella, the free workshops will be at the Webb City Public Library, 101 South Liberty, from 2 to 4 and from 5 to 7 in the Perry Conference Room. Participants may attend one or both workshops, but registration is required. The first 30 persons to register will receive starter kits to use in creating their recipe scrapbook.
For more information or to register, call Kathy Casella at 417 781-1080.
The workshop is a prelude to the traveling Smithsonian exhibit Key
Ingredients: America by Food, which opens Friday, November 18th, at 6 p.m. at the Clubhouse, 115 North Madison, Webb City, Missouri.
