Yet Another Winter Storm Taking Aim on the Ozarks Region
February 26, 2003
A upper level storm system currently over the southern Rocky Mountains is forecast to move eastward and onto the southern plains tonight. Snow is forecast to develop over Kansas late this evening and overspread the Missouri Ozarks overnight. Snow may fall rather heavily at times through late morning Thursday. Present indications are that widespread snowfall amounts of 2 to 5 inches can be expected, with the lightest amounts likely near the Arkansas state line where some sleet may mix in at times tonight.
