Another Winter Storm Brings Heavy Snow to the Ozarks Region

A potent winter storm produced a swath of snow and treacherous travel conditions across southeast Kansas and southern Missouri Sunday. Accumulations of 8 to 12 inches fell over portions of far southwest Missouri with totals of 4 to 8 inches common across much of southern Missouri and southeast Kansas. The national weather service in Springfield Missouri has recorded 7.5 inches of snow through 9 pm Sunday evening. This brings our seasonal total up to 37.4 inches, which makes this the 4th greatest snowfall for a winter season.
