Lake of the Ozarks Watershed Alliance to Meet

WHO: Lake of the Ozarks Watershed Alliance (LOWA) welcomes participation by all who have an interest in water quality at the Lake. The group is seeking involvement from residents, chamber of commerce, resort owners, dock and lift builders, marinas, developers, realtors, civic groups, churches and businesses.

WHAT: Learn about the history of water quality testing results over the past several years. Guest speakers will be Tony Thorpe, Lakes of Missouri Volunteer Program, and Lindsay Tempinson, Missouri Department of Natural Resources.

WHERE: Escollo Room (main floor behind lobby) -- The Lodge of Four Seasons, State Rd. HH (Horseshoe Bend Parkway), Lake Ozark.

WHEN: Monday July 24, 2006 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

LOWA MISSION STATEMENT: Citizens will preserve, protect, and improve the Lake of the Ozarks, its watershed and natural resources while maintaining our economic, social, and environmental health.
