Karen's Dance Studio

Ask anyone in the Joplin area who they've taken dance from and they will most likely tell you, Miss Karen. Karen Drouin has been the owner, operator and teacher at KDS since 1971 and continues to pass along her love and knowledge of dance to her students today. The studio offers classes in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary and Hip hop for students ages 3-Adult. Karen teaches the Cecchetti method of ballet and is the area's only certified instructor. Karen's Dance Studio is also a member of Dance Masters of America, which provides our teachers with continuing education and also gives our students performance and competition experience. KDS is thrilled to have Karen's daughter Nicole Drouin back in Joplin teaching at the studio, after a 15 year professional dance career. You can catch Karen and Nicole teaching many classes together.
